“I had an opportunity to review ToileTree’s fogless mirror and offer a giveaway. Since I wanted to find a good fogless mirror to replace the one my husband had, I had him do the review: I never thought I would be writing a review for something with the word “toilet” in the title, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. Gina gave me a fogless shower mirror from ToiletTree Products to try out and review. She knows that I always shave in the shower and that the mirror I’d been using (another supposedly fogless mirror) was in pretty bad shape. I have to say that so far, I’m impressed. First, it hasn’t fallen off the wall. Not once. The old one fell off at least once a week and frequently more often than that (it was held in place by suction cups). This one is held in place by a silicone adhesive that you could easily remove if you should need (and was VERY easy to install). Second, it hasn’t gotten foggy. I know, I know, it’s a fogless mirror, so it’s not supposed to. That didn’t stop the last one I used from getting foggy. In fact, the last one fogged up regularly and did after about the second or third usage. This one hasn’t at all so far – not even a little bit. Third, it tilts so that people of differing heights can use it. Yes, it’s pretty doubtful that Gina will be shaving her face any time soon (thank God for small favors!!), but if anyone else ever had the need to use it, they wouldn’t have to be the same height as I am to make it feasible. Fourth and finally it actually has a small shelf to store my razor on so that I don’t lose it. Since I’m constantly putting something down and then looking for it (yes, even in the shower) this is huge for me. I can place the razor on the shelf and it’s easy to find the next day. Now, the only negative thing I could possibly say about it is NOT product related but strictly “user error”. The way it stays fogless is by a built-in water reservoir that you fill with warm water. This keeps it from fogging up and is a very simple (and ingenious) way to be certain it works as advertised. The only problem with this is that it relies on me to remember to fill it up. Any one that knows me knows that my memory is NOT very good (see my razor comment above). Anybody that DOESN’T have a horrible memory like I do won’t have any problem with this aspect of it – and like I mentioned, this is NOT a problem with the unit, or a design flaw, it truly is operator error.”
